Hello NEOA!
We are excited to share that given the strong interest from membership, NEOA will be launching a pilot mentoring program for members this fall. For this initial offering, we will aim to support 20 mentor-mentee matches as part of the association's professional development offerings. If you've been working TRIO/GearUp/EOP for 5 years or more, we hope you'll consider becoming a mentor. If you're looking for an opportunity to explore any number of career related topics or just connect closely with a more seasoned colleague, please consider participating as a mentee.

Here's what you need to know:
Who can participate: Applicants should be current/paid members at time of application and renew their membership by October in order to participate.
Expected Commitment: Mentors/mentees should be prepared to meet 3 times in the fall and 3 in the spring on the following schedule:
-Mid-late September 2025: attend a virtual welcome meeting
-October 2025: 1st 1-1 Session
-Mid Nov-Mid Dec 2025: 2nd 1-1 Session
-Mid Jan-Mid Feb 2026: 3rd 1-1 Session
