Good evening NEOA membership,
I hope this email finds you well. On Friday, April 11 at 9am NEOA will be
holding their annual meeting
https://www.neoaonline.org/pdf/conference/2025/2025%20Conference%20Booklet.pdfat
the conference in Rhode Island in Salon III-V at 9am. This is an important
meeting in many ways and one of which is the election of new NEOA officers.
This year, the positions up for a vote are:
-President Elect
-Vice President
-Secretary
Please note the Treasurer tenure was changed  from a 1 year term to a
2-year term via vote at our last annual meeting and therefore is not up for
election this year, it will be up for reelection in 2026.  Thanks to Matt
'Beagle' Bourgault from VSAC Talent Search for his continued service in
this role.
If you are interested in serving and running for one of these positions,
please familiarize yourself with the responsibilities of each position and
the  eligibility requirements to run on our website
https://www.neoaonline.org/b_nominations.php. Please also be sure to
complete the nomination form (attached)-this does include the signatures of
3 NEOA members- and return to Lindsay Carpenter either at the conference or
via email by 12pm on Thursday, April 10. While elections can be made from
the floor, it would be helpful to have all eligible names for the ballot if
possible.
Please contact me, the Nomination and Election Chair, if you have any
questions.
Best,
Lindsay Carpenter
NEOA Past-President
NEOA Nomination and Election Chair
NEOA Advocacy Co-Chair
