Dear NEOA Members,

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming opportunity that speaks to the
heart of our commitment to mental health support and fostering inclusive
environments within our community. The Massachusetts
Educational Opportunity Association (MEOA), in collaboration with our
esteemed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, will be hosting
an Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification

Development offering on December 1st.

This comprehensive certification training aims to equip participants with
the necessary skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of
mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The program will be conducted
by certified trainers and will cover a range of topics vital to promoting
mental wellness and providing initial support to those in need.

Event Details:- Date: December 1st

  • Time: 8:00AM - 4:00PM est
  • Location: Mount Wachusett Community College, 444 Green St, Gardner, MA
    01440 (No Zoom Option, Fully In-Person)
  • Cost: FREE for paid MEOA Members, $30 for Non-MEOA Members who wish to
    attend (or can become a member on our website
    http://www.meoaonline.org/about/membership/). Invoices will be sent after
    RSVP is received.

We encourage all members interested in enhancing their understanding of
mental health and contributing to a more supportive community to
