Vermont State University at Castleton is seeking a TRIO SSS Student Success Advisor for their Advising team to support a caseload of mostly new undergraduate TRIO SSS-eligible students. Goals of the position include, but are not limited to: * Facilitating a smooth transition into the university through personalized onboarding, including registration for first semester classes. * Creating a support network for advisees based on their individual needs and experiences. * Helping advisees establish goals and connect to their purpose in college while preparing them to effectively navigate their academic experience and beyond. Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline. Two to four years relevant experience, or experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
