Hello to the NEOA board for 2023-2024 year,
Welcome and thank you for volunteering to serve in your role on the NEOA
board. I will be submitting a more 'formal' welcome for the NEOA membership
in the Fall Newsletter, but wanted to reach out to the board and welcome
new and returning members; you can find the current list of members here
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pNIv70uS1L9ojawm5HvmE0un1ZcpF-ZvwIimzuqlgSs/edit?usp=sharing.
It will also be updated on our website, which you can find here.
https://www.neoaonline.org/index.phpIf you have not visited the NEOA
website, I would encourage you to do so before our first meeting. I would
particularly encourage you to read and familiarize yourself with the
following:
-Mission & Vision https://www.neoaonline.org/n_mission_vision.php
-Strategic Plan https://www.neoaonline.org/n_strategic.php
-By-Laws https://www.neoaonline.org/n_bylaws.php
These are all important documents that will help guide our work in the
coming year.
*A couple other important pieces: *
-If I am missing anyone on the board member/committee list, please let me
know ASAP so I can get them this information.
-Chairs of committees: if you have a co-chair please let me know who that
is so I can add them to the listserv. I'd like each committee to have a
co-chair so that if one person can't attend in-person, the other person can
(hopefully).
-If you are traveling to the COE conference coming up and able to volunteer
some of your time, please let me know so I can connect you with a member of
the committee. I will be in DC starting this Thurs., and excited to see all
of my EOP colleagues.
Lastly (for now), our first board meeting of the year is September 21-22 at
Ashworth By the Sea in Hampton, NH. I need to give the hotel a count for
rooms and meals. Thursday we will eat dinner offsite, but breakfast and a
boxed lunch will be served at the hotel. Please complete this form
https://forms.gle/VXmkSxDu5wWdcie48 by *Friday, Sept 8. *
I will have an agenda out next week, if you have anything you'd like to
add, please let me know.
Thank you for reading this lengthy email! Be in touch with any questions
you may have.
Best,
Lindsay

Hello to the NEOA board for 2023-2024 year,
Welcome and thank you for volunteering to serve in your role on the NEOA board. I will be submitting a more 'formal' welcome for the NEOA membership in the Fall Newsletter, but wanted to reach out to the board and welcome new and returning members; you can find the current list of members herehttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1pNIv70uS1L9ojawm5HvmE0un1ZcpF-ZvwIimzuqlgSs/edit?usp=sharing. It will also be updated on our website, which you can find here. https://www.neoaonline.org/index.php If you have not visited the NEOA website, I would encourage you to do so before our first meeting. I would particularly encourage you to read and familiarize yourself with the following:
-Mission & Visionhttps://www.neoaonline.org/n_mission_vision.php
-Strategic Planhttps://www.neoaonline.org/n_strategic.php
-By-Lawshttps://www.neoaonline.org/n_bylaws.php
These are all important documents that will help guide our work in the coming year.
A couple other important pieces:
-If I am missing anyone on the board member/committee list, please let me know ASAP so I can get them this information.
-Chairs of committees: if you have a co-chair please let me know who that is so I can add them to the listserv. I'd like each committee to have a co-chair so that if one person can't attend in-person, the other person can (hopefully).
-If you are traveling to the COE conference coming up and able to volunteer some of your time, please let me know so I can connect you with a member of the committee. I will be in DC starting this Thurs., and excited to see all of my EOP colleagues.
Lastly (for now), our first board meeting of the year is September 21-22 at Ashworth By the Sea in Hampton, NH. I need to give the hotel a count for rooms and meals. Thursday we will eat dinner offsite, but breakfast and a boxed lunch will be served at the hotel. Please complete this formhttps://forms.gle/VXmkSxDu5wWdcie48 by Friday, Sept 8.
I will have an agenda out next week, if you have anything you'd like to add, please let me know.
Thank you for reading this lengthy email! Be in touch with any questions you may have.

Please complete this form<https://forms.gle/VXmkSxDu5wWdcie48> by Friday, Sept 8.
I will have an agenda out next week, if you have anything you'd like to add, please let me know.
Thank you for reading this lengthy email! Be in touch with any questions you may have.
Best,
Lindsay

Please complete this form<https://forms.gle/VXmkSxDu5wWdcie48> by Friday, Sept 8.
I will have an agenda out next week, if you have anything you'd like to add, please let me know.
Thank you for reading this lengthy email! Be in touch with any questions you may have.
Best,
Lindsay
