Good Afternoon, Friends!

Wow—what an unforgettable time we had at MEOA’s 40th Annual Conference! With over 100+ attendees in the heart of the state, Worcester, MA, the energy was absolutely electric! We packed the event with amazing workshops, incredible networking opportunities, and some seriously fun moments (shoutout to FreePlay Arcade for making the hospitality suite the place to be!). Our Mocktail Bubble Bar (MYOM, rightfully named) was a huge hit!

I’m thrilled to share that we had some phenomenal awards this year, and the exciting part is that we live-streamed the entire Awards Portion on our Instagram! You can now watch the event, which features the Joan Becker Award, the President’s Award, and a very special recognition for Donna Connolly, who received the Key to the City of Worcester from the mayor himself! Head to our page to catch all the highlightshttps://www.instagram.com/reel/DAoovojvi6e/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==!

We also took time during the conference to celebrate the election of our new Board of Directors who will be stepping into their roles on November 1st, and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone who has stepped up to serve this amazing community. We have a powerhouse team ready to lead us into an exciting new chapter! I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our outgoing Board for all their dedication and hard work as they wrap up their term on October 31st—our successful conference and year wouldn’t have been possible without you. It has been an honor to work alongside you all.

I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who made this year’s conference such a success, from presenters to attendees, and everyone in between. Let’s keep riding this wave of positive energy as we continue to uplift, inspire, and grow together. This was a labor of love from each and every single member of MEOA and we could not be more grateful to have this opportunity to come together. Serving as the 40th President of the Association has been an incredible honor and privilege, an experience I will always cherish.

Can't wait to see what’s next—here’s to more exciting adventures ahead!
