(key word here).* - * Are you an artist or know artists or crafts people who may want to donate handmade items to a good cause? Then please consider donating them to the NEOA Annual Silent Auction! * * If the answer is NO, you may consider making a donation. Feel free to purchase a local item or gift certificate that would be popular to bid on**! Gift Certificates are welcomed as well. There is no longer an online auction.* *All money earned through the auction will be dedicated to the JERRY ELLIS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND! (JEPD)* *Here's how it works:* · *Once you identify items to donate, send an email to Rachelle Lappinen rlappinen@massedco.org <rlappinen@massedco.org> with a short description and value of each item. Then, bring items to the conference and deliver to the Silent Auction room at the conference which is Salon II or, send it with someone who will get there EARLY as we need time to record and display the items. You can also drop it off at the board meeting happening Tues. from 12:30-5:30 (not sure of room location but someone will know!)* *· Items we are looking for:* *o New, in original packaging items including electronics, housewares, etc. decorative items, gag gifts* *o Artwork, crafts, accessories and jewelry- new ONLY (We will be VERY selective as space is limited for jewelry.)* *o Specialty items from your state but NOT from your institution, that are NOT going in your state gift basket.* *IF NOT SURE ABOUT AN ITEM, email us.* *· Items we are NOT looking for:* o *Campus logo tees, mugs, hats, etc. (These may be able to go in the gift baskets from your state)* *o Old,used stuff that you just want to get rid of!!!* *Please consider volunteering.
