Just a reminder to check this off your "to do " list before you take off for the holidays! Kylee and I are hoping to get the newsletter out the 2nd week of Jan. That means that we need your submissions by the first week, and you know what it's like to get back from vacation and have to catch up! So please think about this now! We have a lot to share with membership! *Specifically, looking for:* - State conference updates: NH and CT. - COE update and introduction to the new President (Kim's bio) (ROB) - Intro to Policy Seminar and State Initiatives ( SARAH) - Save the dates (you know who you are!) - Intro to AMLI and reminder for application process (CRAIG) - What we want our legislators to know ( yes- we will send this to them!) - PD- update (LYNN) - DEI Update (MONA AND LINDSAY) - Annual Conference Update (JULIE) - GEAR UP specific news And, of course, *NEWS BITES*: new staff? recognitions? accomplishments of staff, alum and students? Small, interesting pieces of news of interest to membership. and anything else you wish to share. Please take a few minutes to think about what you or your program and students may have to share.
