There are a couple of programs that are working on the APR. My guess is that their submissions should not be disrupted. Has COE confirmed?

Hello NEOA Members!!!

The Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) has shared important updates regarding the pause on federal fund disbursement and obligation, effective TODAY at 5:00pm ET! This will make the G6 system unavailable after this time.

To address this, COE advises TRIO grantees to:

  1. Work with your business office to draw down funds today, before 5:00pm, to prevent any disruptions in TRIO services. This may allow you to maintain operations while agencies assess compliance with recent Executive Orders and provide their reports to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) by Monday Feb 10th.
  2. Contact your House representatives and both Senators to explain how this pause impacts your students and families (You may find sample letter attached to this e-mail) be sure to update to your information):
  3. Join the Government Relations Meetings on Friday January 31st at 1:00pm ET for further updates: You may register here: Webinar Registration - Zoomhttps://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_yV2K2FCNT4S5qdWzolHXTw#/registration

NEOA remains committed to supporting TRIO professionals and programs throughout New England. Your advocacy and swift action are crucial to minimizing the impact on TRIO programs and students.

Thank you for your dedication and support!

Nothing from COE about the APR submissions so far, although I hear that G6 is flooded (likely drawdown activity).
