This inspiring organization is dedicated to spreading the joy of literacy and making a difference in the lives of children and their communities. Books Are Wings works tirelessly to collect and distribute books to students across Rhode Island, focusing on areas where children often lack access to personal books at home. Join us: Here’s how you can participate and support this initiative! If you’re attending the conference, we warmly ask you to bring along a few children's books. We will be collecting these treasures throughout the conference and proudly donating them to Books Are Wings. Please keep in mind that we cannot accept the following types of books: - Adult books - Textbooks or reference materials - Religious texts. Additionally, the condition of the books is essential. We kindly request that you refrain from donating: - Books with mildew - Old library books - Damaged copies Your generosity will help ignite a passion for reading in the hearts of children.
